AN ITALIAN CHRISTMAS CAROL

egoarca When it was finally left alone, he could reflect on what had happened in the strange and frantic night in Milan. The passed before my eyes like a movie images of the rally, the crowd of his supporters and then the challenge of those rowdy subversives dressed in purple. He had harangued them with the phrase he always used to his opponents: "Shame! Shame! Shame! ": Simple but direct and effective. Then his people ringalluzzito his speech read, replied to by a lone result of which many of his supporters can not count the most for a few moments on the support of extra staff or the caregiver's support had fallen to the ground to the supervening dysplasia hip. At the sight of the many voids that were formed in its ranks, the minister had occurred Cipollino allora in un “Chi non salta comunista è, è!” accompagnando le parole con dei sussulti del suo corpo dinoccolato.

From then on things had followed each other convulsively. He remembered the car ride, his face transfigured by pain that reminded him of Cipollino that of Mary Magdalene portrayed in such baroque painting, the authoritarian scowl that since 2232 had happened that had happened had not disconnected even for a moment from your mobile phone from which it gave peremptory orders to the whole created universe.

"You must leave an entire floor of the hospital, goes dell'egoarca security. .. No I do not care of you must put the other patients, dimetteteli! ... It is not possible? ... Okay, okay. Then cleared the pediatrics department: the children are small and a place to put them to find it. ... Never mind, never mind. Hurry up we're coming "

Oh yes, he had to recognize that 2232 - the so called in memory of the old days when both were part of that organization philanthropy. How is that called? Okay now did not remember, however, was perhaps the effect of hit on the head - it was really good at organizing, although sometimes it was a bit 'too get carried away. And if he was saying ...

quickly arrived at the hospital where he was brought in by a side entrance and was taken up with a stretcher to the floor of the department of pediatrics. You could see he was the department was evacuated in a hurry: the unusually deserted corridor, toys on the floor and pictures on the walls betrayed what was the source of employment is directly above it. He was helped to undress and wear silk pajamas that Michela Vittoria de Rome, tourism minister, was sent to buy in a hurry in the nearby Via Montenapoleone closed to traffic for the occasion. Then it was done to accommodate the child's bed in the room (after all were paediatrics) not without the obvious embarrassment of Cipollino whose face had taken on all shades of red. But he was comfortable in that bed there in spite of what you might think his minister. Then came the procession of doctors of all specialties ranging from endocrinologists to gastroenterologists, ENT from the trauma and plastic surgeons and especially ecstatic, except of course for psychologists and geriatricians who would have said something awfully inconvenient.

But now he was alone and could finally focus on the strange feeling that he had seized the moment in which that object had struck in the head. It was as if something had happened in his brain and those who had had shaken his beliefs, his values, his certainties until then granite and stone. Certainly, the behavior of the aggressor was not justified but the slogans of the protesters: "Via the mafia state" or "Respect the Constitution" does not now seem so subversive as he had seemed to fly before it was hit. And then the color purple was not so bad, but ...

was all taken from his thoughts when Cipollino burst into his room, followed by 2232 and by Maron Glace, Minister of Interior, which had joined the group of mourners rushed to his bedside. "Do not worry Lord I just sent a helicopter to take the civil protection of the Latvian Puti ..."

dell'egoarca Seeing his face, his words choked in my throat. It was strangely quiet and filled as a state of unexpected bliss and think that he would have expected to see him in a rage over the incident and especially since forced into the bed, which showed that mercilessly that was not tall by battleships. 2232 Onion took advantage of the fact that it was interrupted in his speech to start saying: "Sire, you have to give news to the nation, issue an official statement in which they explain in a final who are the political responsibility of those who armed the hand of the madman who launched against him or her the gift of the Kremlin .. "

" It was not the Kremlin was a mosque and major maxillofacial damage produced them on the minaret, "he hastened to clarify Maron Glace.

"Kremlin" vehemently reaffirmed that he thought of Antonio Litoreo 2232 (the most dangerous because it can not be controlled in any way representative of the opposition of the left post-Soviet era) as a principal morale del gesto; “Moschea!” ripeté Maron Glacé con altrettanta veemenza pensando agli imam e agli extracomunitari islamici in genere, quali possibili responsabili.

“Moschea!”. “Cremlino!”. “Moschea!”. “Cremlino!”.

"Idiots," he said "now I remember. It was a souvenir of the cathedral that struck me in the face. You can not misrepresent the truth so the people deserve respect. Shame! ".

At these words, everyone in the room looked at him stunned, disbelieving their ears. All but Gaspar muttering that his cell phone, meanwhile, had access to television in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head - complete with ear-round that was resting on the colorful wardrobe of Winx.

face appeared on the screen Emilio Fido almost unrecognizable, as it was transformed by the pain, to hold back her tears, his voice breaking with emotion said one of its television: "... our Lord, the Lord of all the Italians, was the subject this afternoon a cowardly attack as barbaric. He was the Sire, today at an event when a murderess, a madman, a man but an animal would be better to say, no offense of course for the animals, the only discordant voice among the many hundreds of millions of Italians who had come from all over Italy but also from abroad, to cheer our Lord, hit him with a blunt object that .. sorry ... tell me right now as a souvenir of the dome ... " Gaspar then fiddling with the remote fuchsia - if he drew well with those things technological, it was not a case that had previously worked as the role of Minister of Communications - emerged from the screen and changed the channel Antonio Litoreo bruise that big face in the face as he spoke for minutes in apnea without pause for breath, he was saying that reckless act was the result of the violent political climate that the government had largely helped create. But it was the act of a madman and his political party that act, condemned him. That last part of the sentence, but said in a tone of voice so weak that Gaspar was forced ad alzare il volume col telecomando per riuscire a sentirla.

But what was going on? - we must change course: more open to the opposition, shared decision making. Now leave me alone. I want to rest. And please bring out via Onion. "

His men were petrified in hearing those words, but what was happening to their boss? They had no answers. And so, as they were astonished, took Cipollino weight and left the room. Just outside began to talk excitedly together. Those who had heard them from the outside would hear out of that forum the words: "Electroshock," "Stress post traumatico”, “Possessione demoniaca”, “Schizofrenia“.

His dental arch contained too many teeth and too large for its size and this caused him to not quit his lips so he had an unnatural smile on his face 24 hours on 24, even during sleep. Now that two teeth were gone, she could finally keep the lips closed pace of the facial muscles could relax at last freed from the stresses to which they were previously forced. Not bad!

And then the climate of hate that you breathe in the country that he, too, of course not only him, had helped to foment was stopped. The watchwords of his rule from then on would be were: love and tolerance!

And finally slept peaceful as not happened for many, many years.

His quiet sleep was abruptly interrupted by Don Virzi, her confessor and spiritual guide, who literally burst into the room and performed an impassioned rant.

"... eye for eye, tooth for a tooth - is written in the scriptures ..." But those words did not affect all'egoarca was calm and sure of what he had decided.

Faced with quell'impassibilità the priest continued with renewed fervor: "... - No person devoted to destruction may be ransomed; will be put to death. - Is written in Leviticus ... "

dell'egorca But his face was still impassive, insensitive to those words that in other times would have ignited.

"... the Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you. - Written in the Book of Psalms ... "At those words, a smile on his face to the Ronfi, which sentì chiamato direttamente in causa.

A quelle parole 2232, La Ronfa e Maron Glacé presero di peso il prete che urlava come un ossesso possessed and carried him away to avoid schisms that have divided even more Italians.

In the end, now had become night, egoarca was left alone to rest in the hope that the night would bring with it the council and normalcy lost.

egoarca And peaceful slept. And his sleep was full of beautiful dreams. Not dream of women and lewd statues as increasingly often happened in recent times but a civilian Italy. He dreamed of the sea and clean rivers and unpolluted, with the sun's energy, a beautiful city with beautiful homes and neighborhoods and livable, the Italian che erano fieri di pagare le tasse perché in cambio ricevevano servizi da far invidia a quelli dei paesi del nord Europa.

Certo tutte quelle cose non sarebbe was easy to make but he had contributed to the fact that at least could be groped real. He felt full of positive energy and ready to face a new day for him would be new in every sense.

It was still night, at least from what appeared in the shape of Minnie the clock on the wall pink polka dots, but he had no sleep. Then he got out of bed he put the slippers with the head of a reindeer that some children had evidently forgotten there by the bed and left the room.

The corridor was lit by dim lights by night and the flashing lights of the Christmas tree that stood at one end of the corridor. At the other end with a double door glass door separated the department from the rest of the plan. The silence was total. He walked to the door and looked through the porthole and saw stretched on the couch waiting room of his bodyguards. They were all asleep except Johnny Tembo the head of his escort that was intent on seeing an old movie in black and white in a small portable televisorino. The sight of Johnny, the giant muscle good-looking, reassured him. If there was only him that afternoon to protect him! Nothing that had happened, happened. But that very afternoon Johnny had requested permission to attend the afternoon performance of "Carmen" by Bizet ... Oh yes he was a character full of contradictions: he was a member of the Foreign Legion but he was fond of Latin literature, especially the age of Caesar - how many times embellish a speech had asked him to suggest a saying in Latin relevant-, was an expert in martial arts and weapons but had "Sunday Morning" by Velvet Underground, as a ringtone on your phone. He was not afraid of anything or anyone apart from the irrational fear for elephants that exorcised massive tattooed forearms, tender elephants colored soft pastels. But the elephant in Italy there were not and could not interfere in his work ...

Johnny decided to leave his film and went to the other end of the corridor while the TV through the door came the muffled notes of " Moon River "sung by Audrey Hepburn.

He went to the Christmas tree along the deserted corridor, if you made an exception for the shape of Topo Gigio all'attaccapanni hanging near the door of the room doctors. The idea of using young medical researchers dressed as Bugs Bunny to vaccinate against influenza H1N1 as many patients as possible, Unbeknownst to them, was taken from him along with the Deputy Ziofa. But it had happened long ago when he was a different person.

When he got near the tree, he found himself staring at the colored balls hanging, illuminated by flashing lights. The vision was almost hypnotic, there was a very quiet around that permeate us. He let himself go to his thoughts as the story of Dickens and the Spirit of Christmases past will materialize within the translucent ball home. Inside that ball saw the images of a Christmas many years ago ...

was not a Christmas one year in precise detail but one that contained them all. Those years of his youth. Christmases past in his study to work, thinking, acquisitions, alliances, strategies, necessary protections for companies to thrive in its rapid expansion. You always see younger, sitting at his desk with his back to the huge library full of books that had never had the time and love to read but that someone else had read in his place. And then heard: the voices, the voices of his children come from the next room, not so much happy for gifts certainly beautiful and rich that he had purchased at his assistant, but rather because playing with the men involved in the protection that his people were now as a family and went to fill those empty emotional that he had guiltily left. And then he saw the sad look in his wife almost prophetic of what would happen in the future.

A shudder ran through the back. " What I'm not myself, now I'm different: another person, a better person " is almost screaming. Then the image vanished as it had appeared and he found himself staring at the Christmas tree with the anguish of knowing what would appear later.

is the one which appeared after it was the Spirit of Christmas Present. He found himself catapulted into the domestic scenes of families in precarious: of fathers and mothers of middle age without a job or at least without a steady job, you could see forced, with a heavy heart, to ask their parents do the shopping for them, for they too have the opportunity to laden a decent Christmas dinner and so do not be ashamed in front of their children. Then he saw pictures of sad and elderly parents who were forced to exchange Christmas greetings with their children through the video chat on the Internet. Because their children had been forced, Although graduates with honors, to seek opportunities for a better life overseas. The egoarca his eyes staring with a sense of anguish. He felt on his shoulders the weight of responsibility. It certainly was not his alone to blame for what he had seen but certainly he had nothing to avoid that fate could happen.

Then came the Spirit of Christmas future. Here the visions were fragmentary and vague. You could sit at a table laughing and joking well liked by the other diners, but even sitting on a veranda overlooking a white sandy beach surrounded by palm trees with a white head in the wide-brimmed Panama. And there was a Christmas tree on the porch and beautiful girls in colorful bathing suits, because it was hot. But that boundary was not merely add to that sense of loneliness and sadness she felt clearly grip.

Then everything vanished. And he found himself alone, the only man in the world, in front of the tree. He wanted to run from Johnny Tembo and hug him but he did not. He retired to his room instead of with the firm conviction that would have done everything in his power, and it was a lot to change things.

What Size Rims Can I Get For My Avalanche

Hadzi PEOPLE (Part Two)

Continuing to read the article in National Geographic I'm curious about another interesting episode occurred in the village of hasabe guest reporter. This reluctance of Africans to overcome, understandable given the difficulties of language and cultural differences in play, he showed them his photo album with shots on his private life. It was a way to break the ice and try to find common topics on which to start a dialogue. The hasabe had watched with interest his personal photos and turn the page when they saw the photo of his cat, what was the old the village, he quite naturally asked: "What does it taste like?"

What made me smile because I came back to mind, with clarity of detail, the hunt that morning of two summers ago, right in the bush of Tanzania, we did well as a hunter hasabe. We started at dawn, it was bitterly cold. We were dressed in fleece jackets and long sleeves; him, hasabe was practically bare except for a pair of old shorts and a torn pair of sandals made from old tires. He was armed with only a rudimentary arch and a pair of crooked arrows. What I remember above all the hard work we did to be able to keep up. He moved briskly, almost running, following animal tracks on the ground dry and dusty that she saw only him. The first victim to fall prey to its ability to archer was a kind of black pheasant that had followed continuously for a good half hour and had the unfortunate idea to rest on the low branch of a barren tree. The arrow was shot by a close range but the shot was precise and lethal.

The hasabe not pay the small prey, immediately went back on the trail of another prey. This time the chase lasted no less than an hour. The hunter ran scanning the ground looking for tracks, then when found them stopped to study them and as soon as we arrived we too exhausted and panting again immediately merciless. Who knows what we were pursuing? Definitely a big catch and perhaps potentially dangerous ... understand the disappointment when we saw fall pierced by two arrows shot in rapid succession a wild cat and not so big!

hasabe We were disappointed but on the contrary, seemed proud of his prey, and proud of his hunting skills. Points of view! We like good tourists we would have expected something more evocative and colorful, he, the hasabe had brought enough food for him and his village and so was enough. Returning to the village, looking at the lifeless with poor cat's neck attached to the waist of the hunter is combined with another feeling that sense of disappointment that the terror hasabe invites us for lunch!

The cat is a pet for our pet, for hasabe is just food, nothing more. That is the question "What does it taste like?" Dall'hasabe mail to reporters at the National Geographic is more than legitimate. Maybe the journalist was a Siamese cat is so different from a wild cat to justify the assumption of similar tastes but different.

Thinking back to those days between hasabe, I must say that it was hunting the thing that most impressed me about that experience in the bush. And now I know for sure that it is not worth just for me. A few days ago Elena, a girl from Milan who was with me in Tanzania along with "Faina" his companion (so nicknamed by me for a sordid history of chickens in Arusha that) I wrote on Facebook about their little son of one year: "Now we are teaching him to procure the food alone ... the neighbor's cat is at risk."

Happy birthday to the little hasabe Milan!

Repair With Red Juices After Chest X-ray

Hadzi PEOPLE (Part One)

I know, I know ... Did you expect another amazing episode on the trip to Mozambique last summer. But today I propose something different. A jump space-time: about 1200 km further north in space and a couple of years in time with respect, indeed, to Mozambique this summer.

There are things that remain buried in our memory for years. Remain calm blankets the recollections of personal experiences that they have occurred over time. And then when there are almost completely forgotten, something unexpected happens that makes us come to mind. And then within a few days follow each other unexpected events that remind us that memory. How many episodes each other if they are not tied together for a rendezvous such as random chance of which we are involved spectators.

few Sundays ago I was with my lunch. At the end of lunch, waiting for the coffee, I was reading the latest issue of National Geographic and in particular an article that spoke of a particular ethnic group of Central Tanzania's Hadza. The article intrigued me because I've been in Tanzania two years ago. The Hadza name does not tell me nothing but the description that the author does, that is, that some synapses in my brain again interrupted. In fact I read that the Hadza are the inhabitants of the bush that extends between the lake and the Serengeti Eyasi are a nation of hunters and gatherers and live as their ancestors lived thousands of years ago. They hunt when hungry, do not cultivate the land but merely to gather tubers and berries or as honey from hives, have no rules or calendars and even a religion.

Wikipedia mi viene allora in soccorso: “ The Hadza people , or Hadzabe'e, are an ethnic group in central Tanzania , living around Lake Eyasi in the central Rift Valley and in the neighboring Serengeti Plateau... Oh yes and my hasabe the Hadza are exactly the same thing.

Then I connect with the website of National Geographic and I finish reading the article (although this time in English). The hasabe (now that I have appropriated Permit me to call them, even if mistakenly so) they speak a language other than the native Swahili widely spoken in the rest of the region. Their language and the fact that they live in a semi-arid and inhospitable area has isolated them from the rest of the world and now live exactly how they lived 10,000 years ago.

Well this applies to the tribes visited by National Geographic but a little 'less than that seen by us living on the edge of their territory was contaminated with other ethnic groups and with the tourists visiting the lake for which Eyasi organized dances and hunting . The reporter then spoke of the difficulties, despite the help of an interpreter, to organize the expedition. After a first initial contact the reporter had agreed to meet with the elder of the tribe after three weeks in the vicinity of a given tree. Schedule an appointment had not been easy. The hasabe ignore the concept of the hour, week or month. Complicating matters was the fact that hasabe have no words to express larger numbers three or four. And also the trees in a wilderness which is the bush, they all look the same. But the day the appointment was timely Bushman waiting under the tree established. Asked by journalists if he had to wait long, the Bushman had responded as if it were the most normal thing in the world: "Only a few days."

That says a lot about the concept of time in Africa that I mentioned in more than one occasion in my previous posts. For Africans, time is an abundant resource and appearance patients is part of their nature. In particular hasabe engage in activities aimed at procuring no more than three or four hours a day: the rest is free time ....

And then wait at night alone in the bush, I can assure you, is not an experience of the quieter, with hyenas and leopards that roam in the shadows. Because we like good irresponsible in light of our electric torcetti we had ventured out at night in the bush in search of hyenas. Luckily, the children in the nearby village, attracted an unusual show of lights in the darkness, we were accompanied on our tour we were insane, and above all reported safe and sound (apart from some injury due to the thorny acacias) to our campsite. Without them we would never have been able to return to our tents, and now I think our bones whitening in the bush.

How To Program Viper 1002 Remote

SWEET ROLL XMAS

Sweet Roll Xmas

There are those days just before Christmas, during the weekend, in which I would soon get out of bed even a cannon. Yet I have to do. There are gifts to buy, decorate the tree The menu for Christmas dinner to choose from ...

What Paturnie! Then I wander around the house as a sort of rag mucilaginous looking for something that can soothe, if only for a few minutes, my sense of anxiety.

Then go to the kitchen, step in front of the oven cold and empty. And I think it would be nice to think warm, enlightened, exhaling delicious smells that I bring back happy childhood.

Then take the chocolate, flour, sugar ....

INGREDIENTS: 6 to golosastri

200 g butter 100 g dark chocolate

Nutella to taste 1 packet di lievito vanigliato
6 uova

30 minuti

PREPARAZIONE:
Waiting for the cooking I also softened Nutella in bagnolucia. Then I baked the sponge cake and I laid on a wet rag. I then spread a generous layer of Nutella on the inside. I then sprayed over the hazelnuts and I rolled in the direction of the length of the sponge, being careful not to break the swivel. At this point in the outside coated with the melted chocolate.
I have not decorated with icing sugar.

PS Or you can take the car and armed with a good dose of gall to drive to Paola which is the true architect of sweet portrait photos, and have it ready.

PPS recipe on there I put my hand on fire.

Gold Flavour Metal Cores In The Uk

MOZAMBIQUE 2009 - Part 8

Mueda from 11/08/2009 to Quissanga (second and final part)

And so at last we arrived at the junction from where the dirt road that will lead us to Quissanga! And Quissanga boats from Ibo, Quirimbas archipelago the main island, which is our coveted goal: sea, white sand, panciolle. But how would Freak Antoni between saying and doing there in the middle "and" too much and still divide us from Ibo and not only in terms of time and space.

The first difficulty is there is now clearly not just get off the bus. But where were we? Yes, because there was no sign of this intersection on the map of Mozambique at their disposal (and say that I was so proud of my paper 1:1.900.000 scale that deployed with the theatricality of a novice Livingstone whenever my ego needed to be vain impress local illiterate ...) and there were even signs that we were the rescue. Actually, there was a cartel but was about to some sort of agricultural school but certainly was not there, since there were only a few huts around the intersection beaten. But we do not lose heart and ask information about. So we know that the place where we are called Adepepe (or something) and you actually pass the bus from there to local Quissanga. To substantiate the latter information is the fact that we are not the only ones waiting, all around the sides of roads, dozens of people are camping. But as often happens on this trip, we are the only white people. Obviously the tourists who come to the Quirimbas flying other routes, or those using the most convenient means of transportation. However, our bus would pass soon after and waited.

advantage of a break to buy something to eat and drink. I'm not happy with the cookies: despite the wafers are not past due, at least from what state the date printed behind, are at the limit dell'immangiabile. But hunger is hunger ... I hope to make my drinks. And 'since we arrived I noticed that here in Mozambique sell drinks Fanta in Europe do not exist: one is fanta pineapple in a can of bright yellow, the other is in a grape fanta in a purple can now be defined by B Day No opt for the latter. Now not that I expected, who knows, it is true that it was written "grapes" on the can and I certainly do not expect to contain the juice of grapes of Montepulciano grapes but the taste of big bubble concentrated extract was beyond the worst expectations. It would have been a long time before I tasted the pineapple yellow variant because the list of colors on the package (dyes from the sinister acronyms never read before in European products) does not bode well.

However, more than an hour had passed since we were asked once again confirmed that it would have been a means Quissanga and three since we had arrived at that blessed junction: long enough to make the most impatient seraphic of Tibetan monks. We were once again stuck in the middle of nowhere and the idea of spending the night in the open in an abandoned hut and a few pulciosa to Adepepe not we please all. The Africans that they should like us to reach for their part Quissanga waited impassively as only they can do (to the face of Tibetan monks) in the belief that sooner or later something would happen. And something would happen because we, as good Europeans eager and determined, we worked to get out of quell'impasse.

in fact wander around the vicinity of the junction we see over a curve, which hid from view, a pick-up stopped at the roadside. We approach the hope of finding a ride. But the pick-up is still in need of repair but because what appears to be the leader of the workers who are busy around the middle, however, proves to be available to give us a hand. Tells us that is waiting for a bike that will lead him to take a spare part needed to repair the car and from there, no one knows where, in a telephone call does not quite know who to let us be picked up by another pick up. The plan is flawed but it is the only half an hour possibile.Sorprendentemente See you later get a bike that riallontana after loading the foreman on which we placed all our hopes remaining to leave the bloody crossroads. Spend more than an hour without any means is passed through the road, we decide to return the workers to get reassurance. But the pickup was gone. Obvious they had repaired and were broken down, but did not have to wait for the spare part? Boh! At this point we lose all hope and now when we are assessing which of the huts are abandoned and dilapidated house is the best place to spend the night, a white pick-up and even almost new, looming. We're saved!

A mano a mano che i chilometri venivano divorati ad una velocità folle, considerando il carico e il fondo stradale accidentato, l’aria the sea was beginning to be felt more and more and with it our happiness. At some point in the journey I saw a dark shape fly out of the chest. "Fuck my backpack!" I thought my bag was in fact black. But then, looking closer, I realized it was only a black man dressed all in black, to be flown to yet another jolt. None of our fellow travelers seemed to be worried more than I did, the fate of the unfortunate former passenger and only Greta, sensitive as ever, began to yell at the driver to stop. Fortunately for him, the unfortunate passenger had fallen into a sandy stretch of road so that if it was quarried with only a few bruises on his face. Without anyone to help him come down, unable to move because, as we were jammed against each other, our unfortunate fellow traveler has come to travel the hundred yards that separated him from the pick-up and has taken place, as if nothing had happened and no one looks after him, in that mass of bodies.

Without further misadventures so finally we come to Quissanga where we stayed at the bad I thought, "Japan." Ve do not recommend except that it is the only opportunity to stay with that of Quissanga. Before dinner we have just enough time to drink a warm beer and take a stroll on the beach white mangrove also be that we find the latrine in the village. The human feces of various shapes and texture a bit scattered 'everywhere that stand on the white sandy surface, leave no doubt about the beach accessory. Then consumed a frugal supper unexpectedly good but I just collapsed into bed exhausted.

Tomorrow is another day and we'll see.
